I earned my Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) from Adler University, with an emphasis on Primary Care Psychology and Behavioral Health Medicine. My internship and postdoctoral fellowship were completed at New Connections Academy, a therapeutic day school catering to neurodivergent students, specifically those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. My training spans various settings, including outpatient behavioral health clinics, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and community mental health centers.
In my clinical practice, I adopt a biopsychosocial approach to understanding human development and the origin and persistence of mental health issues. I believe in promoting holistic healing for each client, addressing physical, psychosocial, and cultural aspects while viewing them through a holistic lens. I integrate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Reality Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-focused Therapy, and Mindfulness-based Interventions, alongside insight-oriented and client-centered therapies.
Outside of my professional endeavors, you’ll often find me nurturing my garden or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. Music and culinary delights never fail to bring me joy! Additionally, I have a profound passion for travel and am continuously expanding my list of dream destinations. If you share my love for exploring the world, why not exchange travel tales and perhaps even plan a mental vacation together?

I firmly believe that each person possesses an innate capacity for growth and self-awareness, and I am dedicated to exploring and nurturing that potential. Rooted in existential-integrative therapy, I create a compassionate space for self-discovery and personal growth. In my practice, I strive to offer a non-judgmental and empathetic environment where individuals can delve into their thoughts, feelings, and experiences, fostering a deeper understanding of themselves and discovering the strength within.
My educational background includes a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University-California School of Professional Psychology. Currently, I am pursuing a post-doctoral master’s in clinical psychopharmacology with The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I completed my internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Sutter Center for Psychiatry, a not-for-profit psychiatric hospital within an integrated healthcare system. During my time at Sutter, I worked in various hospital settings, including the emergency department, inpatient medical floors, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, and the inpatient psychiatric hospital setting.
My clinical and research interests revolve around trauma, severe psychopathology, chronic medical conditions, and veterans’ mental health. I am a nationally registered health service psychologist with the National Register of Health Service Psychology and also serve as an adjunct professor at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology (TCSPP).
Having served in the United States Air Force, I am passionate about supporting the military community. I have been appointed as a Secretariat Appointee on the Advisory Committee on Women Veterans and recently joined the Advisory Committee on Foreign POWs for the Department of Veterans Affairs. My dissertation focuses on Women Veteran Identity and Its Impact on VA Use. Additionally, I am actively involved in mental health advocacy and serve on the Board of Directors for Mental Health America of Illinois.

I find value in providing clarity to people looking for direction and answers. I work from a place of acceptance and nonjudgement while encouraging you to do the same. I view myself and my work as a step on your own journey to finding acceptance and embracing your true self.
My educational background includes a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I completed by internship at AllSaints Hospital, an integrated healthcare system, which included rounds on the child/adolescent and adult psychiatric inpatient units, outpatient counseling, the partial hospitalization/step-down program, intensive outpatient program for substance recovery, nursing home for individuals with cognitive decline, chronic pain support program, stress management program, general pediatric consultation, and medical rehabilitation floor, as well as, psychological assessments generated from across the hospital system. I have spent the last 14 years working primarily in outpatient mental health clinics providing assessment and therapy to individuals of all ages. I have contracted with school districts to provide testing and clinical support within the school system, primarily supporting children with special educational needs. I have also contracted with assisted living centers throughout the area to provide clinical consultation as well as assessment of cognitive functioning to monitor decline.
Outside of the office I am a mother, wife, and daughter. I spend much of my free time with my family. If I’m not at one of my children’s sporting events, you might find me at the gym or the pickleball court. I like to stay active and find peace and relaxation in the outdoors. I’m also an avid reader and there’s no better place for me than on the beach with a good book.

My clients describe me as caring, kind, and easy to talk to. I strive to provide a supportive and goal-oriented environment where individuals can learn, grow, and take control of their own autonomy. From the very first session, I work collaboratively with my clients to set goals and create a treatment plan that supports lasting change. I believe therapy should feel natural—like talking to a trusted friend—while still providing the structure necessary for meaningful progress.
I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and childhood trauma. Additionally, I have experience supporting postpartum individuals and members of the military community. I work with individuals, families, couples, children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and the LGBTQ+ community. While I have experience working with various concerns, I typically refer out cases involving childhood sexual trauma to ensure clients receive the most specialized care possible.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also offer culture-based therapy, ensuring that treatment is tailored to each individual’s unique background and lived experiences. In addition to providing therapy, I also work as a psychometrician, conducting psychological and neuropsychological assessments to help individuals gain a deeper understanding of their cognitive and emotional functioning. I am fluent in both English and Urdu, allowing me to serve a diverse range of clients effectively.
My ideal client is someone struggling with mental health symptoms that interfere with daily life—whether that means difficulty getting out of bed, maintaining routines, or engaging in work and social activities. Together, we create a structured plan to implement goals, develop coping skills, and regain a sense of normalcy. Therapy is a partnership, and I encourage my clients to be active agents in their healing process. If you’re ready to take the next step toward healing, I would love to work with you!

My approach is centered on you—your story, your values, and who you’re becoming. I believe healing is a journey of uncovering your most authentic self, and I’m here to walk alongside you as we unpack your past, make sense of the present, and move toward a future that feels more aligned and fulfilling. You get to set the pace. My job is to listen, support, and help you access the tools that feel right for you.
I became a therapist because I’ve seen how unhealed pain, trauma, and stress can hold people back from living the lives they want. I believe no one is meant to walk through that alone. Therapy can be a place of discovery, freedom, and transformation—and I feel deeply honored to be part of that process with my clients.
In our work together, I use a blend of evidence-based approaches like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing. I also like to use metaphors and analogies to help break things down in a way that makes healing tools more practical and easier to apply in everyday life.
I work with adults, teens, couples, families, and older adults, and I’m especially passionate about supporting the BIPOC community. My areas of focus include life transitions, grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction recovery, and identity development. I especially love working with clients who are trying to reconnect with who they are and how they want to show up in the world.
To me, therapy is a partnership. You don’t have to have all the answers, and you’re not expected to “fix” anything overnight. I’m here to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered to make the changes that matter most to you.

Through 1:1 sound healing, Reiki, and combined sessions, I offer a compassionate and nurturing space where you can rest, reconnect with your body and breath, and return to the present moment. These sessions support relaxation, energetic alignment, emotional release, and inner clarity. You’ll be bathed in healing sound vibrations, entering deep meditative states that allow your nervous system to settle and your heart to speak.
My work is rooted in mindfulness, intuitive guidance, and embodied presence. I blend knowledge, lived experience, and deep listening to create a container that is client-centered and heart-led. I trust in your inner wisdom and honor your unique healing path. My role is not to fix or heal you—because you are not broken. You are already whole, simply remembering forgotten parts of yourself.
I became a practitioner because my own healing journey revealed the transformative power of being deeply witnessed. I’ve always been drawn to emotional depth and inner growth, and I knew I wanted to help others feel held in that same way—where mind, body, and spirit could come home to themselves.
Since 2022, I have been certified in Level 1 Tuning Fork Sound Healing, with further knowledge gained through extensive personal study and collaborative work with experienced practitioners. This work does not diagnose or treat conditions, but rather offers energetic support and balance. I’ve also completed my Level 2 Reiki Healing Certification and have over 3 years of hands-on experience, supported by continuous learning through books, mentorship, and personal exploration with clients.
I feel comfortable holding space for anything that arises during a session—whether it’s emotional overwhelm, anxiety, stress, grief, or past trauma surfacing. My role is not to fix or advise, but to offer a safe, nurturing space where people can feel what they need to feel without judgment or pressure. I witness, I listen, and I allow. I take gentle notes on what comes up and trust that licensed therapists can help clients process and explore those themes in a deeper, clinical way if needed.
My ideal client is someone navigating challenges in their physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual body—someone who is aware that something no longer serves their highest good and is ready to create change. They may struggle with presence, stress about the future, or be stuck in cycles of overthinking the past. What they need is a nurturing, loving space to feel what they need to feel, honor their truth, and remember who they truly are. Their ultimate goal is to become the best version of themselves—more aligned and at peace with their journey, however that may look like.
I work best with those seeking support for:
• Anxiety and stress
• Emotional processing and overwhelm
• Spiritual or identity transitions
I always hold space for whatever comes up, and while I do not offer clinical therapy, I lovingly refer clients to licensed professionals when deeper layers of trauma, addiction, or mental health crises arise. My role is to support the present moment, help you feel safe in your body, and guide you to your next step. make the changes that matter most to you.
